João Havelange Research Scholarship

In honor of its former President, Dr. João Havelange of Brazil, who stepped down from his role in 1998, FIFA decided to set up the "João Havelange Research Scholarship" to encourage scientific research into football. The CIES is collaborating with FIFA on the award of the scholarship.The scholarships are intended to facilitate the work of researchers who have completed their studies with a university diploma, bachelor's degree, state examination, doctorate or an equivalent title. The research shall be conducted in an academic environment.
