Highlanders FC To Rock Johannesburg Tonight.

Sekwenzakele.  Highlanders FC will arrive in South Africa tonight to rock the city of Johannesburg with their known brand of football on Sunday 25th July 2010. The team will be in South Africa to play Jomo Cosmos in a much-anticipated clash at the Johannesburg Stadium, next to Ellis Park, or Coca Cola Park Stadium. The KICK-OUT XENOPHOBIA Campaign match is organised by SAWIMA for the benefit of the victims of xenophobia attacks.

While the current crop of players may not be very familiar to many, be warned, there is style in these boys. Goalkeeper Ariel Sibanda is in good form and will be expected to be on top form. Captain Gilbert Banda has been in there for a while and his solid game is one to look forward to as he closes down Cosmos' Bhamuza Sono. The flair of Zephaniah and Joel Ngodzo will be freely on display as well as Bruce Kangwa and Bruce Kutsanzira.

The match will also benefit the Bosso brand which desperately need sponsorship. It is hoped that Amahlolanyama will play well and market the young players' talent to get contracts with South African clubs. Welfare Manager, Douglas British Mloyi was in the squad that last toured South Africa for matches in the mid 1970s. The Goalkeeper Coach, Peter Captain Oxo Nkomo was also part of that squad.

Supporters are encouraged to throng the stadium to give the players the support they need. A victory or even a decent game against Jomo Cosmos will boost the Bosso morale when they go back to their domestic fixtures.
