Stuart Baxter Leaves Kaizer Chiefs

After a successful stint at the Glamour Boys, Stuart Baxter leaves for what reports claim to be Turkey despite previous countless rumours of stalking by SAFA.
SAFA are in the hunt for a Technical Director and my gut feeling is that he is headed there.
Speculation as to who takes over at the club where they are selling their best material at the shelves is rising.
My take is that they are cashing in because Baxter is going and the new guy must get into the market for his own material, but I think it is too much.
I guess they are prepared to destroy and start from scratch.
It can be good or detrimental but I think they calculated the risk given how much they made and they stand to make.
I couldnt be that bold though.
Steve Komphela can do a good job but as usual, as seen by these sales, he wont buy the best players that money can buy like Baxter did.
Though good and likely to deliver, he will have to do so with minimal resources and support.
He is shrewd and can make local football very exciting like what Papic did with Pirates seasons back.

The SAB Nkangala League season concludes

The 2014/15 South Africa Breweries (SAB) 3rd Division league ended last week with a few cases still to be attended by the Disciplinary Committee. There is not much expected to change in most cases, especially in terms of the championship and relegation.

The regional league was divided into three streams, Platinum with 20 teams, of which 6 were to be relegated and two teams promoted; Golden with 15 teams and Silver with only 10 teams.

The streaming was geographical to cut travelling costs of teams.

Mpumalanga Future Stars United of Emalahleni won the league in commanding fashion as they dominated the league from start to finish, followed by Delmas’ PJ Stars.

Kwazi United and Blescor United were expelled for failing to fulfil any of their fixtures (former) and suffering three ‘walk-overs’ in a row respectively.

As Mpumalanga Future Stars United went into war in the play-offs for promotion in the ABC Motsepe league, Witbank Black Aces and Black Pain (Emalahleni), Amavarara (Delmas) and Power City (Kriel) were expected relegated after a finalisation of a few cases.

Scara United of KwaNdebele won the Golden Stream championship while Newtown United of Middelburg were victors of the Silver streams.
