Zimbabwe international goalkeeper Energy Murambadoro will become the latest casualty of the winds of change sweeping across Bidvest Wits. The 'keeper will be offloaded together with Sipho Mngomezulu. Almost all the players from last season's squad have been discarded or are leaving the club since the change in management and coaches.
Murambadoro and Mngomezulu have been pushed aside along with Derrick Spencer while Thando Mngomeni also appears headed out.
"This is football. Things are quiet, but my agents (Prosport International) are looking for a new team for me," says Mngomezulu, who captained Wits last season.
"I was told about this last week Monday. By now clubs have spent their budgets and this is the feedback you get, so it is difficult. Energy (Murambadoro) is another one like me who is out."
Wits have welcomed Jackson Mabokgwane who is expected to give Emille Baron stiff competition following the release of Murambadoro.
Both Murambadoro and Mngomezulu are no longer training with the club just like Spencer who has been linked with a move to AmaZulu.
Youth international midfielder Ebrahim Seedat has been spotted by KickOff.com training as he seeks to win a move back to the country after a spell at Belgian club Loreken.
