Dembare Dispute With Hwange To be heard ,

The dispute over the match between Dynamos and Wankie will now be heard by the Commercial Arbitration Centre who will make a binding decision after Wankie appealed against a Zifa Appeals Committee to award the game to Dynamos.

The dispute has dragged for long after a Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee ruled that the game which Dynamos won 4-2 be replayed at a neutral venue after Dynamos marshals assaulted Wankie coaches Nation Dube and Mabelo Njekwa before the game.

Dynamos then appealed against the Disciplinary Committee decision and a Zifa Appeals Committee ruled in their favour forcing the PSL to reinstate the three points that had been deducted after the
Disciplinary Committee decision.

But Wankie who are languishing in the bottom half of the PSL league table has refused to throw in the towel and have appealed against the Zifa Appeals Committee decision forcing the matter to go for
arbitration.

Zifa Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Mashingaidze confirmed that the matter was now in the hands of the Commercial Arbitration Centre saying they are waiting for a final judgment on the case.

Another interested part is that Highlanders will also waiting for the decision with bated breath as it also affects them on the league standings.

Dynamos are on top of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, two points above Highlanders on the strength of the three points from the disputed Wankie game.

Should the Arbitration Centre rule in favour of Wankie the three points will fall away and Highlanders will go top by a point.

Wankie are also desperate for a replay as they also need the three points as they are not safe from relegation as they are in 10thposition in the 16 team assembly.

Four teams are relegated to the first division at the end of the season and replaced by four teams from the four first divisions that make up Zimbabwean football.

This is not the first time that a football dispute has been referred to the Commercial Arbitration Centre after the promotion battle between Hardbody and Tripple B last year in which Hardbody finally won.
