Ajax Cape Town picked up their first win of the season in emphatic style with a 4-1 victory over Platinum Stars at the Cape Town Stadium on Friday night.
Bradley Grobler netted a brace while Keagan Dolly and Khama Billiat also made it onto the scoresheet. Patrick Malokase slotted Dikwena's only goal with a penalty in the 28th minute.
The Urban Warriors were superb in attack while Stars were less than solid at the back and it took just eight minutes for the hosts to hit the front.
The ball broke for Dolly on the edge of the area and he calmly stroked it into the bottom corner to give the Urban Warriors the lead.
Grobler missed a decent chance five minutes later after good work from Koen van de Laak and Billiat before the striker wasted another opportunity with a weak effort soon after.
Stars started to show their potential going forward and Sean Roberts was forced to palm away a stinging strike from Thuso Phala in the 26th minute.
Two minutes later they would be level when Malokase slotted from the spot after Thulani Hlatshwayo had handled the ball in the area.
Their joy would be short-lived though as Grobler bundled home Ajax's second in the 36th minute from 12-yards.
The hosts were now flying and they would get a third two minutes after the break when Dolly whipped in a superb low cross and Grobler tucked it away with a sliding finish.
The visitors tried to get into the game after the break but they struggled to break down the Ajax defence. Roberts would have to make a save with 10 minutes to go as he tipped Siphelele Mthembu's rocket over the crossbar.
The Urban Warriors would end the contest just moments later though when Billiat was slipped through and he dinked the ball over the goalkeeper from a tight angle to wrap up the points.
