The South Africa contigent of Bafana Bafana flew off last night to Poland for an international friendly against a side ranked 20 positions above them. The preparations are set to hone the AFCON 2013 hosts for the African championship and the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
Zimbabwe Warriors were set to congregate in Gauteng to 'cut costs' but somehow the arrangement fell through. The camp has since shifted base to Harare where the team assembled and went through their paces. The Zimbabweans carry a fragile advantage heading to the home of the Antelopes of Angola.
The Warriors coach, Rahman Gumbo is looking to keep the back shut and probe in attack to cement the team's place in South Africa next year. The two teams faced off a couple of weeks ago in Harare, the hosts emerging -1 victors.
