There is the Barclays Premier League program with Tottenham Hotspur hosting Everton after their difficult week and Chelsea will be looking to extend their lead at home to Wolves. West Ham will be up against Fulham. Sunderland and Aston Villa lock horns at the Stadium of Light while Birmingham will be fighting a much improved Blackpool. Wigan and Bolton will the looking to pick up points off each other.
Sunday brings the biggest Manchester United test of the season so far. They visit Stoke City, by far the most improved team of the Premier League. Their solid approach to the game may trouble the Man U team that is rocked by the now boring Wayne Rooney transfer/ move/walk-out saga. Liverpool have a home fixture against Blackburn Rovers.
Manchester City will host Arsenal in one of the best fixtures we will have in a long time. Both are pretenders to the throne but they will be trying to out muscle each other for third and fourth, or even fifth position.
And by the way, there is a tricky F1 in Korea this weekend as the championship heats up. It is a must win for whoever will fancy their chances among the top 5. All Mark Webber needs to do now is to finish ahead of Sebastian Vettel while Lewis Hamilton will fancy himself to finish well. Hamilton needed to have just completed the other races races before Japan but then blew it when it mattered most. There will be no room for error on Sunday. Fernando Alonso and Fillipe Massa seem like party spoilers to me. Lets wait for the day.
