Arsenal Looking To Set The Record First Win.

Arsenal FC are playing at home against newly promoted Championship team, Blackpool FC. The match will take place at 16:00 pm at the Emirates Stadium, promising to be an entertaining game.

Blackpool, who thrashed Wigan FC 4-0 at the DW Stadium on their Premier League debut on August 14, are second at the moment behind last season's champions, Chelsea FC. They are hoping to add another 3 points to their tally, as their season has started on a high. Blackpool manager, Ian Holloway, said that Arsene Wenger is a great manager & is looking forward to the clash.

Arsenal, on the other hand, played against Liverpool at Anfield on their opening match and struggled to get a draw. The Merseyside giants looked the better team as they scored the opening goal, through David N'gog, who blasted the ball past Almunia, Arsenal's speculated number 1 goal keeper.

Liverpool's new signing, Joe Cole, was sent off with a straight red card after his trailing leg caught arsenal's new centre back, Laurent Koscielny, giving a scare of a broken leg. As the match proceeded with 10 men Liverpool, arsenal could not find an equaliser. With only 1 minute of stoppage time to be played, new striker Maruone Chamakh found some space in the 16 yard box and put in a header that would be spilt by Pepe Reina, giving the visitors the equaliser.

With the display of a shockingly dry Arsenal performance & a stunning debut from Blackpool, who is to say that Arsenal will not rise up again, as captain Cesc Fabregas & Alexander Song return from injury.
