Bosso must take stork, seriously, as the season ends

After an incredible 11 match run by Highlanders under caretaker coach, Mkhuphali Masuku, players will take a deserved rest wondering when their pay cheques will be liquid for once. Bosso plays a relegated FC Victoria of Masvingo with basically a 2nd string side, for obvious reasons. The match is a dead rubber for both teams as it counts for nothing, despite the points and pride at stake.

The Bosso leadership must take stork of what took the team to hell and back and count the cost of their decisions. It does not take a rocket scientist to see that some actions came from the heart and not the head. No matter how much passion drive you, when it comes to business, emotions do not count. Knowing the leadership well, they are capable of doing exactly that, and Bosso will be a team to beat next season.

Juicier is a once in a million case of the team fighting for the championship on the last day playing teams begging for their survival in the top flight. Leaders, Motor Action play Lengthens while 2nd placed Dynamos are away to Black Mambas. Lengthens and Mambas will play in the top league next year depending on how they play this weekend. Actually, only one of the 2 will be up there.

The matches determine who wins the championship and the Division One partakers next season together with confirmed floppers, Bantu Rovers, FC Victoria and Douglas Warriors. Numbers suggest Mambas are a better bet to stay up. Assuming Bulls and Dembare win, Mambas will have to concede over a dozen goals to go down. This is not a message Madinda Ndlovu will want to hear or send to his players. They will be playing to win it at all costs, and they can.
