Gud had settled well at the Craven Cottage and there may have been personal issues that led him to want out. The good thing for Fulham is goalkeeper Schwarzer staying put.

Whatever AC Milan paid for Robinho, the wisdom of the deal will depend on how much soon he settles and if he makes the difference he should have been making already. He may find his feet in combining with Ronaldinho and even boost the form of the later.
