Bosso Kills Off Caps United In ZAOGA Charity Shield Match.

Highlanders Football Club of Bulawayo inched closer to a ZAOGA 50th Anniversary Charity Shield when they beat Caps United of Harare, booking a ticket to the final on the 31st of October 2010. They beat the Harare giants 2-1 after a penalty shoot-out.

The Shield with a prize money of $35 000 and $15 000 for the winners and losing finalists respectively, will do Bosso a lot of good as they try to beef up their financial coffers. They need to pay the players and coaching staff, as well as the swelling debts that are shooting through the roof.

Themba Ndlela was full of praise for both the team and his technical department for pulling off such a crucial result. The match had to be decided from spot kicks after a 1-1 regulation time scoreline. Bosso will face either reigning league champions, Gunners or Dynamos in the final.
