Highlanders were in a class of their own and did not really need to impress to dispatch stubborn Gunners 1-0 at Barbourfields on Sunday afternoon, that solitary goal coming off Milton Ncube.
Bosso, not worried or concerned about records they are setting or can set, were masters of their game, steering the match with cautious but true control to affirm the grip of the leadership of the top spot.
Several times, could they have scored earlier or extended their lead later, which proved to be immaterial, but the victory was a confidence booster and sent a strong signal of their intention to wrap this thing early.
Tshilamoya have not tasted defeat in the 2012 Castle Premier League season that has seen their transformation reminding people of what joy can be. Season ago, the sleeping giants had become weeping boys and their resurgent and vintage performance against a team that humiliated them last season was sweet revenge.
Not that the win came in a silver platter. Scary and heart-stopping moments were inevitable as the visitors were baying for blood looking to spoil the party.
It was enough for the solitary first half header to keep the team's 18-match unbeaten run intact.

'Bosso vs Dembare violence video - we hope this is the last we have seen. God bless Mr Cooper!'
Highlanders landed valuable points by gunning down Gunners in a famous away 2-1 victory. Mkhuphali Masuku took the bull by its horns to pull off a nerve settling win that lifted the spirits of Bosso. Zeph Ngodzo scored with just 5 minutes before half time from a corner kick situation.
Poor defending let the Bulawayo side take the opportunity with open arms to go one up. Gunners were never going to let it go without a fight as Norman Maroto drew a goal back through a 65th minute header. Interim coach, Mr Cooper, kept his cool during this tricky spell and his charges restored order four minutes later when Rahman Kutsanzira finished off a pass from Francis Kanda for a deserved win.
There had been worries after Mohammed Fathi left Bosso with a $30 000 invoice to be settled by a certain hour of day. The Egyptian resigned this week siting family problems and was temporarily by Masuku. A victory over the champions will be sweet and is a psychological boost for the team that needs to lift themselves up for a challenge in the ZAOGA Jubilee Celebration Cup against Dynamos soon. Thanks Mr Cooper and we wish you many more wins. I am now going to cry until the morning.(via the Bosso Blog)
