Bosso executive blocks former players.

A STORM is brewing in Bulawayo after the Highlanders Football Club executive has reportedly blocked former club players from meeting with it to discuss pertinent issues affecting Amahlolanyama.
Well placed sources at the Bosso camp have said the former players, operation under an association called Former Highlanders Players Association (FOHIPA) have on several occasions requested audience with the Bosso executive but to no avail.
The association wants to revive the dilapidated Bosso Sports Bar, which was once run by boozers soccer outfit – Amavevane.
“We have now and again asked for audience with these guys but to no avail, we communicated with the office administrator, Melody Mpofu who assured us that he had communicated with Secretary Andrew Tapela and Treasurer Odiel Nkomo, who told him that they were going to discuss the issue at their usual Monday meetings,” said Nestai “Super” Moyo.
He added that he does not understand why the Bosso executive does not want to meet them and discuss any matters. The former stylish Bosso star said his association has Tito Paketh as the chairman and Rahman Gumbo as his deputy.
Their slogan is: “WE are Bosso Legends Nothing Else Matters.”

  1. As a very very and again very devoted and stonch supporter of Highlanders Football Club (AmaHlolanyama-Bosso) feel having such an asscociation as FOHIPA is a good idea as long as it is for positive reasons and for transperancy within the main frame of the club.
We need to see Highlanders financially stable and paying its players good money and feeling up the stadiums where ever it goes.
I hope that the Bosso excecutive will find it in the interest of its supporters to take time to listen to what FOHIPA has to say and involve them where nesseccary in the activities of the club for the best interests of becoming a successful club again. We should listen to ideas and see where best we can implement them. But who am i to say this but a loving supporter of my precious and beautiful club BOSSO.
We should not look at enriching ourselves through the club but enriching our club through us supporters. where are those days where we had convoys and tshisa nyama along the way to supporting our team on away games, where is our marketing strategy of selling Bosso gear and products and making sure that our supporters wear our kit with pride.
A lot can happen, to make this happen it only takes a brave Man to stop all the evil in the offices of our beloved club.
